SESSION DESCRIPTION

The hospital had done MCI planning for many years but the connectedness of the various aspects of the plan had never been explored as most exercises stopped in the ED.   The MCI subcommittee worked to create basic initial target capabilities for all players in the MCI response.  This effort helped identify unrealistic expectations of other response groups and increased coordination efforts among the responding groups.

Deborah Teske

Deb Teske is currently working at Mayo Clinic as an EM Senior Coordinator.  She joined Mayo in 2010.  Before that she served as an Emergency Manager in a local county and served for 20 years as a Naval Officer.
