Educational Objectives
After completing AHEPP Annual 2018, the participant will be able to:

Identify current priority areas in healthcare emergency preparedness

Describe emerging practices and theories that can be applied to improve healthcare emergency preparedness within various healthcare settings

Access key resources and tools that will enhance or sustain professional work or volunteer role in planning for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies within healthcare settings

Identify collaboration opportunities to enhance healthcare emergency preparedness
-
Identify opportunities to engage with national stakeholders on Federal guidance and policy issues that impact healthcare emergency preparedness
-
Outline next steps for providers in developing and advancing their current disaster plans
Continuing Education
Most certifications allow self-reported continuing education (CE) credits for attending conferences. Often, written verification of attendance is required (e.g., stamps following a session, certificates of attendance). Please check the CE requirements for your certification prior to attendance and plan accordingly.
Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be issued only upon receipt of a completed evaluation survey and will be emailed to you within three weeks.
